Brutus keeps an updated inventory of every follicle on his scalp.

Unfortunately, he’s got a few fewer hairs than last week.

I was never so happy with my hair as when I took the plunge and shaved off the “desperate fringe.” Who needs hair? Monkeys have hair, and where has that got ’em?

Well, I think that it has put on a little weight.

OOPS! I guess I pulled a little too hard.

The bald truth

What did he expect? It would go in and out like the tide?

Brutus, whatever you do, don’t talk about her hair!

Maybe he needs some volumizer.

I always said that it could turn gray as long as it didn’t turn loose. I’m still doing pretty good, my hair is totally white, but I do have that really thin spot in the back.

gee thanks… wait, is he using paint thinner for his hair instead of shampoo? no wonder it’s getting thinner.

Well, he is the The Born Loser.

Poor Brutus. Even when Gladys is trying to be uplifting, it goes sideways for him. I think all of us can relate.

I learned I had quit losing my hair when I quit finding it in the shower drain. I learned how much I had lost when I continually got sunburned and had to start wearing hats.

I’m not that concerned with keeping my hair. With me, it more important to keep my teeth, than my hair. Besides, with less hair there’ll be less cutting and combing.

Brutus – there are more important things than hair. Her.

At least she notices. However, it is getting easier with each passing day….

My hair is still rather thick and heavy, but I have friends whose hair is getting sparse. I hope their husbands are as supportive as Gladys about their hair loss. Men are pretty much expected to lose hair, but women are very sensitive about it. One of my friends wears a wig. One shaved her hair down, dyed the very, very short hairs she had left and wears it like that. Both look great to me.

In my increasingly flesh-colored hairstyle, many hairs turn white… just before they fall out.

Brutus needs some hair conditioner that makes hair thicker…

But the hair in your ears and nose are making up for it.

Doesn’t Brutus have to have hair before it can thin?

Brutus is the only person who likes split ends because it make him look like he has more hair.

Only Brutus Thornapple would worry about the one and only hair on his head getting thinner.

The other day when Gladys baked cookies her expression said, “Do I know my man or what?” This one says “I can’t resist this!” And Brutus’s is “try harder!”

When Brutus gets a hair cut, it is literally ‘A’ hair cut. One snip!

In their younger days Gladys loved to run her fingers through Brutus’ hair. Now it’s his hair that runs through her fingers.

Let it grow a few feet, then roll it into a man bun.

At least one part of him is getting thinner.
