oh, the dreaded separation anxiety

I don’t promote hurting a child. But maybe a hard slap across the chops would help him find that inside voice.

I wish that concept would go away. Many adults seem to think they need to shout whenever they’re outdoors. Sometimes hiking, you can hear them 1/4 mile away.

That’s unacceptable.

I had a little guy at the store today who had no inside voice and only one speed – ZOOM – but his energy was infectious and really fun!

YES, I SAW YOUR CELLPHONE!!! JUST AFTER I STEPPED ON IT, AND BROKE IT! NOW WHY WAS IT LYING ON THE FRONT HALL FLOOR?!?!?

Inside voice, outside voice, whatever.

Most normal, not “talk down to” people call it yelling or shouting
