OH!! I always wondered why some of my math classes were taught by old fossils.

After all the terrible things Trout has said over the years, Agnes is offended by THAT??

Somewhere in the U.S. i feel there must be a “school board” that has decided that “educating” children is an unnecessary “expense” and has pocketed the entire budget for themselves while closing the schools. So many irrational government decisions I can’t see them missing this one.

Calvin also pointed out that Math is a religion.

I had a math teacher who must have been in his early 100’s, or so it seemed. He was a great teacher, but didn’t appear to have much of a sense of humor, so of course I told him the following joke.

You know how smart mathematicians are, you can give them a math problem, and they start writing out equations, and before you know it, they have the answer. So why is it that mathematicians never get constipated?

Answer: They can work anything out with a pencil.

Hope that Agnes’ school is spiffier than the trailer court.

If that were true, Joe Munchkin would have 1000 bills before the Senate calling for more math classes.

In some states you don’t need math to graduate. Instead of a diploma you get a participation trophy
