My kiddo had a related experience. She had built a great house in Roblox. It took months and she spent some real world money. The game has a setting that lets you allow other gamers into your space. It also has a setting that gives the other player shared ownership of the space. When someone asked to come play in her house, she used the wrong setting. It was destroyed in seconds.
