My to-do lists used to be a lot more structured than Ruthie’s. I would begin each day with a written numbered list, in order of importance, and cross off each task as it was completed. As new things cropped up, I would rewrite and renumber the list — and went through a lot of notepaper. Anything not completed would be worked into the next day’s list. My OCD was so bad back then, but Zoloft helped a lot.
