I remember when I was 11 back in 1968, the networks cut off a major football game to air the movie Heidi. I was soooo happy because I was worried that Heidi would be pre-empted by the stupid game. Some TV exec made the call in my favor but football fans were incensed!

If the lens is for someone who is near-sighted that won’t work. Those are diverging (negative focal length) lenses.
