Charles Samuel Addams (January 7, 1912 – September 29, 1988) was an American cartoonist known for his darkly humorous and macabre characters.

I did not know who Charles Addams was. I had a guess, but didn’t know. Mr. Addams was a cartoonist and humorist who developed the characters who would eventually become The Addams Family tv show.
