I once forgot my own birthday. Remembering near the end of the day wasn’t a good feeling.
Sent my mom a card to be filled in and returned when she forgot my 30th. Got it back with a red-ink face drawn on it.
It’s all moot anyway, as he won’t live to see his birthday.
I quit bothering with celebrating my birthday decades ago. Was too broke to do anything to celebrate so i just gave it up. Last birthday i celebrated was my 17th.
No subtlety there…
