While visiting my dad many years ago, I was watching his cat walking along the edge of his pool when it fell into the pool. There was water flying everywhere, about eight legs flying in every direction, and at the center a ball of fur. It was not a happy camper.
This story does have a happy ending… apparently the bow wake pushed the cat over to the steps in the corner of the pool, where the cat was able to exit. I never saw that cat anywhere near the pool again.

Lassie was such a boring show. We hardly ever watched it.
Keykat who you want to be like is Rin Tin Tin, Bullet or King. Saturday mornings, we never missed The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, The Roy Rogers show and Sgt. Preston of the Yukon to round out a morning that started with cartoons.
