As I mentioned in one of my replies, Halloween is a Christian festival. It is partly based on an earlier Celtic pagan festival but is itself a Christian festival that precedes All Saints Day and All Souls Day. All Souls Day is known in some countries as The Day of the Dead.

The fact that the Wizard celebrates Halloween rather than its pagan predecessor and Christmas rather than Yule shows that the Wizard is a Christianised pagan rather than an outright pagan.

Here in the United Kingdom, we have a new king after being ruled by a queen for seventy years. We also have a new Prime Minister. She is our third woman Prime Minister. The first two women Prime Ministers were in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and our current Prime Minister Liz Truss began her term of office in the final days of Elizabeth II.

    Long live King Charles III.

According to Nestle, get your Halloween candy early as they are expecting shortages.

I do not celebrate Halloween. It’s about as important to my family as… National Potato Chip Day.
