See Ms. Bliss, kids don’t need sanitized books. They need creative outlets. All your sad book did was kick their imaginations into overdrive; and look at what magnificence it produced! I don’t know if it’s true that artists need to suffer for their work, but a little hardship can produce some interesting results.

The kids are not being bad, at any rate not deliberately, but what they are doing is Book Abuse, something that causes me great anguish….
