Cellphone in the Rye
They couldn’t ring the phone to find it? So much for intelligent life on other planets.
About half a mile that way.
Then why are we looking here?
The light is better here.
Fake news, folks! When the E.T.’s trampled through my crops, I swear from what I could hear out, that they were searching for their keys
The worst thing that might happen when you urgently need to "phone home.”…
They lose their phones a lot.
So that is how crop circles really occur.
It also might be lost when you were with that farmer. Which led to that other alien tradition (to quote the movie Paul) “It’s probin’ time!”
This is kind of a-maze-ing.
Try calling it again, Did you sign up for the locator?
I think I may have left it at home.
These things are no longer a joke. They are costing farmers serious money:

Does it have a “Find My Phone” feature?
Mmmmmmm….now I’m hungry for a funnel cake.
If I knew that I’d look there?
Where did you have it last?
Aha. Just what the alien astronut theorists had always suspected!
Well, this is the first reasonable explanation I have seen for crop circles.
I used to make crop circles, they are easy. But that was before cell phones.
