If you are making something that requires you to cut the flank steak in strips before you cook it, you might as well order the pizza anyway as you will end up with meat that will rival shoe leather in toughness.
Now you guys are making me hungry for Pizza! Can’t even remember the last time I had some. Trying very hard to stay away from breads not to mention the rest of the calories that come with the toppings, but once in awhile you just have to give in and eat some until you again realize what you just put in your body. Please don’t even mention the alternative cauliflower crust. If I’m goin’ in I’m goin’ for the real deal :-)

Mmmm, flank steak. Marinate in teryaki sauce over night, grill about ten minutes each side, cut against the grain. We use leftovers to make stir fry.

Just keep your blades razor sharp. You won’t have to partially freeze the meat to facilitate cutting.
