Good bye summer! (though we are due a few more months of it here in Southern california…)

Still embarrassingly pleasant here in No. Calif.!!!

Here near the equator it’s SINO. Season in name only.

Yeah, I’ve lived in places where summers lasted 6 months and also where the winters lasted that long.

Well, the trees have started to turn,so I suppose Summer is officially over.

Time to head south with the geese….

We seem to be getting a small Summer extension as the first day of Fall is expected to be 97 F. The second day will be 80 F.

Hard to tell the difference between Autumn(Fall), Winter and Spring here, for the last 3 – 4 years the average monthly temperature has not been below 20ºc(68ºf) for ANY month.

Happens every year, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, get used to it. Just remember, spring is only six months away!

It’s too bad that Louie can’t talk English to the humans. Their being pirates they could sail their ship to the southern oceans and Louie would see the summer lady again this coming December.

As if summer waits til June to arrive. The last several years we’ve had 90 degree days in April or May. Whenever it arrives, it’s always too soon. Good riddance, Summer. Feel free to not come back.

Don’t let the door hit ya, where the good lord split ya! No more 80, 90, 100 degree weeks for a while will be nice.

Today marks the end of summer. Summer is dead, long live autumn.

I love the warm weather, but I’m kinda ready for a change with some autumn stuff. We have one more hot day here, I think, before things cool down some …
