Ellie is a romantic at heart and is not a realist. They don’t see the cold northeast for what it is – BRRR!

Oddly enough, I feel the same way about shorts and sandals. Gimme blue jeans and boots any time, all the time.

Interesting comment. Does anybody actually remember seeing Elly stuffed into a bathing suit these past 3 summer months? Today’s comic implies she was, but I can’t remember.

We’re ALL grateful for that!

Fall is the best time of the year. It means the holiday season will soon be here.

Turned on the heat today after thinking about it for 3 days. Temps dropped and the house is still 70 degrees, but it feels damp.

I do love fall, but not for what is anticipated. I love the season for itself. Not too hot, not too cold and no pollen like in the spring.

I no longer stuff my body in a swimming suit, we do not go swimming. I scare people off.

I live in Florida, swimming pools are year-round here.

I see no reason why anyone “has to” stuff themselves into a bathing suit. If you don’t want to wear one, don’t go to the beach, or just wear something comfy and don’t go in the water. Problem solved.

Maybe not, Elly. You still have to work out for the next nine months.
