My 2018 laptop computer’s 1 year trial subscription of Microsoft Office (non-professional) expired. Now I can’t edit existing documents unless I mail them to an Android device. It would be cheaper to buy a new laptop than pay a 1 year subscription.
I had this problem with Peacock (on cable) who had advertised that some shows were available for free until April, and I had watched several, took a break, and last night it would not work at all. So I watched a show on Netflix. I wasn’t going to make phone calls for hours at night. It might just be easier to pay for it, which is probably what they want. I had planned to anyway, but when I got the free offer, I decided to go with it. The formatting is pretty bad, though.

All subscriptions run out at midnight – unless otherwise stated or negotiated and prepaid.

I’m surprised she’s still dressed like a princess. I’d have expected her clothes to turn to rags

No one has mentioned that the spell traditionally wears off at midnight.

You can renew your subscription, the cost was $39.95, but that was yesterday. Today with inflation it will be $49.95. Sorry that will be $54.21.

These days there would be an automatic renewal and you’d have to drill down 20 web pages and wait an hour on a customer service call to cancel.

She managed to sign up for a subscription that didn’t auto-renew?!?
