Oh my, this is the first Cul de Sac I ever read. Like some strange drug, with one dose I was hooked.

I’ve always liked cicadas. I still collect the shells left behind when they take to the air.

Alice should do this again when the next swarm of 17-year cicadas comes out. It will be a real cicada apocalypse. Even Dill’s brothers couldn’t top that!

    “Private army of tiny Mothras.”

Does Andre have the private army of tiny Godzillas? Will they do battle or band together to fight the Toad Zombies?

Richard Thompson does a daily cartoon and a full music tour since the late ’60’s? Where does he find the time?

My kitty was born in October and is now 19. She has seen two cicada cycles. The first one she really enjoyed. This time, not as much (that was last year). When this first came out I found a deceased cicada, dressed it in a paper napkin and left it on a co-worker’s desk. He was not amused…

All unwittingly, and with the best of intentions, Petey has let loose Cicada-Alice on an unprepared world! Is there no National Defense against the Invasion of the Sapient Cicadas?!
