What is it about cats and paper, or computer. Learned to hit Save, a lot.

Yes. Less cats and more coffee is a great combination for work.

Fewer! Not less! Fewer is used for countable items, less is for singular nouns that describe a mass of objects. Think fewer dimes and less cash.

And yes, I know, it is common usage. It just drives language geeks nuts.

And the often ‘interesting’ people that pass through are fodder for the funnies. Also.. Croissants!

On the other hand, you have 100% fewer cats sitting on your paper. A mixed blessing at best.

Back in the mid-80s I had an Apple IIe computer. You could lift the lid off the top quite easily if you were inclined to fiddle with the hardware, which I was.

Then my darling brother came over and informed me that I had volunteered to cat sit for a friend of his – not mine, never met the guy. Seven adorable little voids invaded my home for a week. Guess where their FAVORITE place to sit/sleep/play was? INSIDE MY COMPUTER!

They were adorable, so it was OK that I got ZERO work done on my current project, if course.

I had to vacuum out my computer when the 6 of them left, but it was for naught – Widget loved to get in there.

And is anyone surprised that I wound up with a kitten? At least I didn’t have paints and water for him to spill on everything there. And he did inspire me to try to code a kitty-themed game.

    Note the “try”.

Anyway, the point being, you need to work from home so that you can have important inspiration and entertain the fur babies!

I’ve learned to close the door when doing work. Eventually the crying stops and the paws under the door cease.

My daughter’s cats take turns lying on the laptop keyboard. Have a Wonderful Weekend my friends.

But! There’s 100% more people-watching. Which could go either way; time-sink, or inspiration for new material. ☺️

My new housemate works from home. 3 of my cats supervise her all day. They say she is exhausting to watch. Then we cats go to bed early.

When I speak, I probably make a ton of grammatical mistakes. And I write my comic how I speak. So there will be errors, because I do not know all the rules of all the things, of cabbages and kings. Forever and ever. Amen.
