We had a cat that did that. There were two doors leading from the kitchen, about 6 feet apart. One had a pet door in it. One of our cats would sit in front of the other door and yell for someone to come open it for him. If I was there, I would pick him up and assist him through the pet door. Pretty soon, he figured it out. If he saw me coming, he would shut up and hustle over to take himself out the pet door. Smart kitty.

I’m sure, if he would stop raiding the frig and sleep so much he would slim down…
