Interesting that the beam in Panel 1 is emanating at an angle from the pointer. Must have been a supply-chain problem somewhere upstream in the manufacturing cycle.
I had a cat that would walk back and forth on the piano keyboard, seemingly enjoying the sounds, and then curl up on the bass keys, one paw hanging over…
Except you can’t see the beam itself, only the spot when it lands on something. (Unless you use it in the fog or use aerosol spray to light up the beam.
I had to stop using mine to entertain Milla the kitty; I couldn’t bear her confusion and frustration when the dot disappeared.
We still have problems when the sun catches the face of my Apple watch, and she chases the reflection. She goes absolutely mental; she’s convinced it’s hiding somewhere.

Especially not those landing 747s at night.

Fleshy doesn’t have any respect for dorks like you Monty, and doesn’t have time for your nonsense!

I believe they know it isn’t a real creature, they just love the chase. Good practice for the real things.

Yep! We all knew it. Fleshy is no “normal” cat. He fixed the annoying laser as only Fleshy would and could.

My wife said I should let the cat catch it once in a while. Speechless I was.

In Ireland they shine a gold spot and they use them to tease leprechauns.

To say nothing of their destructive instincts.

Note Fleshy’s expert disassembly of the device. He doesn’t want his eye burned out.

Fleshy doesn’t like laser pointers.
