I really want more adventures of Wallace’s dad in the future. Not right away obviously, this arc dosent seem remotely closed to finished as Wallace’s Mom hasn’t even shown up, but dang if it’s not fun to see the usually straightlaced Mr. M in a fun campy sea adventure with aliens, death rays and the seagull in an eyepatch. His tall tales were always great, but seeing one at full storyline length is just a thing of beauty.
I think the thing I love best is that the some pirates have their phones sideways, while the (shall we say newer?) ones are in portrait mode. They have different expectations of how they’ll be viewed.
This whole Gingerbeard saga is delightful. I like the way it snuck up innocuously and then abandoned the framing narrative and plunged straight into a demented epic.
When our kids were little after dinner we would walk in our neighborhood and tell stories along the way. We used to have quite an extensive cast of charecters. Was a wonderful time.

What, and give up the clicks? They really help the channel. We are reminded incessantly.
