What gunshot? I didn’t hear anything. Not even a BLAM or ker-POW.

“Dr. Noll, this is the police. We’ve had reports of a gunshot at your house - are our services needed there?”

I’m sure that DL will be able to tie up the loose ends somehow. It’s gonna be hard with a cast full of loonies.

Mustache Alert!! Tess is growing one in Panel 2!! Earrings, once round are also square in Panel 2. Oh Boy…

pschearer got it right, not a BLAM or a kerPOW ! And this from the “Master Blaster” who invented a whole battery of NEW gun shot sounds for the DT strip. Check SLUGS MAGNUM first half November 1999 !

Some samples : Kapluk Katow Kaboom Kasmuk Blub Bumk Kazong Boom Kapocity. Then add, POQ, Tafoom and Poom! It wasn’t clear if Locher intended the later 3 as gun shot “sounds” or with a chuckle he was just slipping a little “perfume” past the censor.

Quick call Diet Smith – have him send the Tracy-Bot to do a chemical analysis of the “perfume”.

Wow! I am really enjoying this story. Is Dr. Noll a goner? The plot is moving along nicely.

I think the idea is that Big Oil wants to bury the formula - literally and figuratively. How fortunate that they buried the perfume formula by accident! The fuel formula is still in the hands of Tess and friends. It could have been a reasonable plot if well executed…

Poor Dr. Noll! I bet Dancing Queen shot him in his one good eye! Tracy really is looking like Charlie Chan more and more each day. Plus Tracy’s hand in the third panel looks like a profile of The Thing!

They could have blown the doctors house up(again), and Tracy would never have noticed. Is Tracy practicing shadow puppets in the third panel?

Doctor Noll can make anything but sense.

Charlie Chan ? Hmm! TMS must have picked up a new newspaper. Now at 52? Think, the paper may be in China?

Here I was on the point of noting that when Jeff was around not a “note” from DELI-delicious. (No I didn’t get the name wrong, just following the “example” of a genious. How can Angel-glorious be wrong? And now as if nothing ever happened to ruffle his feathers, and right on the Woodstock whistle stop, the pleasant “alter ego” is back ! Smiles! Happy days! Full praises ole man! Welcome back ! You should always try to send a COPY of your “encouraging” posts to Dicky at TracyHQ, as HE doesn’t read this board. Remember? And there’s so much “flak” these days. It will serve to keep his exploding test “tubes” up ;)
