One rude awakening coming up

I think everyone else has her figured out, Norm.

I can’t stop laughing, she said that without even thinking about

Why does he even hang out with her? Go find Echo, Norm!

Didn’t he quit school?

Try earplugs and call her Rudy.

Since she serves no purpose than to be rude to Norm, why is she even in this comic?

Yep, that should not be even slightly “hard to figure out.”

Pretty clever. Her comment, of course, not his.

Wendy is awful. He needs to never see her.

Hard to figure out? She’s made it clear she doesn’t want you around, yet you keep stalking her. Good thing this is a comic where we get to laugh at the well deserved insults. In real life things like this can get pretty dark.

In my experience, I would say ‘not being able to hear myself think’ means this to me. In my line of work, I talk with people who speak quite fast and at a high volume, and that makes it a challenge to focus on my work to help them; and most of these callers are supposed to be ‘professionals’ in our industry.In your case Norman, Wendy doesn’t like you and thinks you’re stupid.

Wendy isn’t mean. He’s an idiot, she knows he’s an idiot, she’s told him he’s an idiot and that she doesn’t want anything to do with him, get lost, leave her alone and, DOES HE LISTEN??? No! He keeps pestering her, asking her out even though he has a great little gal in Echo! So, who’s the @$$hole?
