So um… I guess it’s a good thing that the actual manager arrived. At least it didn’t become this thing where they tried to convince her that she should be the actual manager.
This is a menial labor job, not an office workplace. It’s a stepping-stone job, not a place to find the meaning of life or to solve your existential angst. Maneuvering between locations across town or minor job title changes is nothing but a distraction from the main goal which should be to find a career and work smarter. Yes, manual labor is honorable work and builds character, etc., but it should not be anyone’s life goal.
