We used to jump off the garage roof into the grass clipping pile. My mother never knew that. My husband used to walk across the Willamite river on the railroad trestle.
All of us, and kiddos in general, used to do things that could have killed us. We didn’t realize the possible outcomes of our behaviors – plus the “fact” that back then, we were immortal! (grin)
