Don’t grow up, it’s a trap!

Highly overrated anyway.

Doing what you want is limited by what you are able to do. What you are able to do is limited by what you can afford. And what you can afford is limited by how willing you are to not do the things you want to do.

When I was Ruthie’s age I wanted the same thing. Now that I’m older it was the worst thing to wish for! Grandpa is correct!

By the time you’re old enough to do what you want, you just don’t want to anymore.

Got that right

Once, when I was about Ruthie’s age, I told my mom that I couldn’t wait until I grew up so I could do whatever I wanted. She laughed. At the time, I couldn’t figure out why. Now I know. Hahaha!

When I was young, my parents always yelled at me to turn down my music. Then I got married and got a house of my own. Now I get yelled at by my kids, my wife, the neighbors, and the cops!

Since I was 25 I’ve grown out, not up.

There’s a brief period of doing what you want, between childhood and marriage.

I do whatever I want. Kids are grown and no job.
