This strip was originally published in 2003, when Kamala Harris was unknown to most people, so what’s this a reference to? The only thing I found was a wrestler called Kamala.
Today it means: to ramble on while giggling and repeating a key word without really saying anything. The longer, the better a ‘Kamala’ you’ve done.
