Just don’t chew the seeds, and you should be okay. The amygdalin in the seeds produce cyanide when met with stomach enzymes. However, apple seeds’ outer layer is resistant to digestive juices. So if you just swallow, no problem, but if you chew the seeds, amygdalin could be released in the body and produce cyanide.
