I see this is a rerun from 2000 but couldn’t Grandma Rose use a cellphone to call Grandpa to stir the sauce, even if she did have a mobile phone couldn’t she borrow Mom’s.
I remember feeling embarrassed because shortly after leaving home, we realized we’d forgotten something and had to go back home to get it. I felt like the neighbors were probably laughing at us. One time we returned home 3 times because of forgetting something or other.

From experience, that is why on road trips we sometimes had our kids Ruthie’s age in pull-ups for just in case.
The only thing missing was the famed question, “Are we there yet?!”
