Pigs are clean animals. Mud is a sunscreen and parasite inhibitor, plus it’s cooling. If those needs are met another way, they may not need to wallow. I’ve seen pigs that liked those little kids’ pools full of water. Yes, I watch a lot of documentaries, whydoyouask?

This reminds me of one of our babysitters once complaining to me that his dad wanted to take him to a jazz concert, but he had homework to do. I kept thinking, how do I raise a kid like that?
