My brothers were married and had moved away before i was old enough to date, and my parents died before i met anyone that i was serious about. Come to think of it my one brother never even met my wife before she died… I really don’t have much in common with the family in this comic strip.

I don’t have a sister, but my little brother was just as bad. I used to say that he and I have been fighting ever since he was old enough to hit back. (Of course we grew out of it. And it helps that he lives almost 3000 miles away.)

The best part about this is that because Rhetta and Elly are in the kitchen, Michael is afraid to go in there and interrupt this conversation that he fears. No boys in the kitchen.

I can’t imagine Elly saying all those things to Rhetta. They just met. Only a witch (like my step-mother) would be so mean.
