I thought mums knew everything from yesterday, but it appears that when it comes right down to it, Elly’s tendency to have others take care of April has led her to seek out her sister first instead of her mother. Frankly I am surprised April did not seek help from Farley first. (She might have. We just did not get to see it.)
I always love Lynn’s characterizations. Just look at April’s posture in the third frame, reaching up to Elizabeth, head back, arm up. You can almost feel the tension in her little body.
Ummm….she should be sleeping alone. Although really, it doesn’t matter where she sleeps. They all live together and the cold germs are in the house. Poor thing. Colds are yucky. I’m such a baby when I have a cold. Believe it or not, I feel worse with a cold than I did when I had Covid.

Liz always was a second mom to April rather than a big sister. When she was scared or sick, she went straight to Liz.
