And it might have ended right then, at the start

Now you’re lookin’ sick, ’twas just a brief prick

And I might have gone on my way, empty handed

It was vaccination, I know

Seeing you roll along with the paws outstretched below

Then I grab your neck and next moment, I carry you

Vaccination turned, to effort oh nooo

Marm’s faking it, Phil. Of course, you already know that. Tell him he’ll get a treat if he’ll get up and walk.

Phil! Dogs don’t malinger! Take heed!

He was walking up to that point in time when the vaccine finally kicked in. Now put him on the dolly and dolly surf him to the car. Yip yip yip yip yip

Phil could say, maybe we better go back in for another shot or Fifi is walking this way. That will make him get up.

Quite the drama dog…

Usually takes several hours before my arm feels slightly tender from the flu and covid shots.

In case you didn’t get it…( The harder they fall )

I had a Bull Mastiff as a companion for 8 years. As a puppy when I took him to my Vet he would crawl under a tall stool located in the corner of the room. Even after becoming a full-grown dog of about 130 lbs, he would try and hide under that same stool, but now all that would fit would be his head. The Vet thought it was hilarious.
