At first I thought Dan had been perusing a fat tome of legal brilliance and then I realized it was a box, zooming in I saw it was some unhealthy snack. Disillusioned again, just like little Amanda.

“My eyes have seen.”

Dan is becoming quite the quotable character.

This is one big reason why I taught teachers how to teach music via the Kodály approach—to nurture that sparkle, our culture, in schools! Makes me mad when schools work the opposite way!

The flight and room are booked, and the itinerary set in stone.

Welcome aboard, Guilt Trip Airlines! Make sure all emotional baggage, is stored in the overhead compartments!

(Fighting my own tears) ABORT takeoff, Amanda! Look at what you’ve accomplished now!

Luckily, Dan has awesome in-flight snacks. Cheese Dongles, STAT!

Sometimes memory lane isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Lot’s of rabbit holes to go down, many of which is just part of your imagination and what you make of them. Look at where you are now and then decide if that hole was even worth going down.

If Amanda hadn’t experienced what and who she was then, would the outcome be any different? We love the person you became in spite of all those old feelings. Eat a few Cheese Dongles with Dan and let him give you a hug :-)
