Many years ago, a friend was at her very first job out of college and after finding out that costumes were allowed on Halloween wore the body-suit cat costume that she’d worn to a party the weekend before. She got called in to HR and set home to change.
Moral of the story: you may bend the dress code on Halloween, but you can not break it.
I once had a coworker who wore a devil’s costume on Halloween. Then during his breaks he would stand in the elevator, and ask anyone who got on “Going down?”

Sorry, while Spandex hero costumes are ok. Jeans still aren’t. Khaki casual at best.
