Well, they have to keep up with the times!!!
The motor on the vac must vibrate.
The old rough and ready, with plenty of leg room, gives way to faster, more efficient, but cramped modes of transportation. Sigh, ever is it thus.
How is she able to balance on that thing?
When our big, black, floofy Norwegian Forest Cat was a kitten she loved to ride around on the Roomba.
She’s the first in the coven to own a Vroomba.
Obviously she can’t drive a stick…

In the TV show “Sabrina The Teenage Witch” (starring Melissa Joan Hart) they used upright vacuum cleaners as their mode of transport.
I suppose if you wire it backwards, the motor would provide lift, but I don’t think it would provide that much lift.
