If Sedgwick would get on Jarvis’ shoulders he may be able to see over the hedges to the location where they came in. Failing that, Jarvis could climb partway up the Minotaur to locate the entrance point. They still might get lost in the maze trying to get out but it would be a start.
The minotaur was a beast that was part bull and part man and whose only source of food was eating people. If Sedgie’s father sees himself that way, it would explain a lot of the kid’s obnoxious behavior.

Bullish? Are you sure that wasn’t a misspelling?

Amazing that the connection of minotaurs to mazes is still common knowledge 3000 years later.

That’s a Minotaur. Is there a Secondtaur around somewhere?

If this theme of finding a new surprise around every turn continues this could be a long arc, albeit a funny one.

Bullish means powerful and positive.

Hmm. Makes sense. Nuttingham Junior (i.e., Sedgie’s Dad) clearly had a at least a small sense of humor.
Knowing we are at the center of the maze, we ought to be able to suss our way out, right?
