Our English Mastiff would come up to me while I was lying on the couch and give me the big eyes wanting me to get up and let him on it. Never worked, but he’d try.
My late loving wife and I had a Catahoula Leopard dog and two Chihuahua’s. The Catahoula thought he was small like the Chihuahua’s because he would always climb up and sit between my legs when my recliner was up. He came close to tipping me a few times.

It’s time for Marm to grab the leash and “demand” to go for a … “walkie!!” Or in his case, a … “runnie!!”

Got to go. Got to go. I’m late, I’m late, I’m late. Got to go. Got to go. Much to do. Go. Go. Aaah. Nice. Comfortable.
Nap well, Marmaduke.
He’s dreaming, maybe.

If hubby and I slept late, dogs would wake us up, and as soon as we were up and about, they’d crawl back into bed!
