makes me wonder if that’s how the pets at my house feels… even playing games they don’t really like seeing me do.

Marmaduke has the posture gene ( head resting on the chair arm) just like my kids. Yip yip yip yip yip

Our English Mastiff would come up to me while I was lying on the couch and give me the big eyes wanting me to get up and let him on it. Never worked, but he’d try.

Learned that from the misses.

My late loving wife and I had a Catahoula Leopard dog and two Chihuahua’s. The Catahoula thought he was small like the Chihuahua’s because he would always climb up and sit between my legs when my recliner was up. He came close to tipping me a few times.

Marmaduke a dog, not a spouse.

If hubby and I slept late, dogs would wake us up, and as soon as we were up and about, they’d crawl back into bed!
