Excellent observance, Rover!

This is new. It wasn’t inferior at the time they were feeding it to him.

Then again, there probably are some dog foods that are (and have been) superior to this dog food … but are also much more expensive.

That’s one way to look at it!

“You, sir, are quite right”. Is Red supposed to be a salesman to Rover’s customer? Perhaps he is a waiter to Rover’s customer.

That is why I always look for same old, same old.

Rover sounds like the “roving” high end pet food sales people that sneak up on you and act like a long lost friend and push their product!!

Gotta love Rover….smart doggie.

Maybe all they improved was the bag. Marketing….

Oh Rover, you silly dog, I bet you will eat this new and improved food with the same passion you ate the old food.

Some dog food comes from dog food plants. Some dog food is blended rendered food factory excess,

It can be new OR it can be improved but it can’t be both.

Well, that explains a lot.

Reminds me of an anecdote about a customer who heard about a sale and got mad that they didn’t charge that low before and wouldn’t give a partial refund now.

Definitely not intentionally….

Not just inferior – old and inferior.

Maybe a little off-topic here, but I always wonder why an auto manufacturer would put a nice shiny chrome insignia on their car that informs you the car is “Limited”. Really? Limited on what? Horsepower? How long it will last? Interior room? ???

To quote Mike Stivick (spl)…the food was “old and lousy”.
