I have had so many memorable hikes in the rain. The precipitation brings out the colors of the foliage, especially in the Spring and Fall. The sound of the drops hitting the fabric of your rain gear can be soothing. There is a serene sense of stillness in the forest as the clouds drop below the mountain-tops. As long as you have the rain protection to keep you dry, rain is not a problem.

Otherwise, it is a problem.

“Work with a possibility of misery” sounds like the daily weather forecast.

Yesterday the rain returned after a near 5-month absence! I will never complain about rain again because it makes for: Happy trails!

If I ever get to work, I feel great afterwards.
