This is so true, especially the crows. At least squirrels keep mostly to trees and fences.

If you think crows are bad how about geese, the size alone.

I’m not too fond of crows, either.

And at the time frame in which this strip is set, people generally didn’t pick up after dogs either. Dogs ran free and people watched where they stepped.

As for me, I hated bean bag chairs like one Red sits on, lol! Found it hard to get out of one, even as a young woman!

I saw a neighbor letting his dog dump in my yard. I asked him where his bag was , he said he didn’t pick up after his dog. I told him I hated hitting that crap with my mower. So don’t dump here.

My pastor hates birds (he’s a car guy, & nice cars and birds are a bad combination). One Halloween a few years ago we got a bird skeleton at Dollar Tree & put it on his pulpit. Gotta love a pastor with a sense of humor.

This one had a very small twist at the end. I liked it! If I were gonna rate it I’d give it a 9/10. Keep up the good work Brian!

Personally, I like crows (squirrels less so.) They can be very entertaining. Crows tend to show up here for peanuts and the only mess they make is in the fountains where they dunk their food. The crows also have an odd relationship with some of the local squirrels. One crow will routinely drop peanuts down to immature squirrels on the ground, and the other day I watched a crow walking across a neighbor’s lawn with a squirrel following it a few feet behind. Every time the crow stopped to inspect something in the grass, the squirrel would stop, too. I’ve seen this same thing happen a few times; it’s almost like someone walking a pet. The question is— which is the pet and which is the pet’s walker.

We have wild turkeys here too, leaving what looks like tar. Birds have cloacas, so everything they leave behind comes out of one opening.
