ALL THAT, For NAIL POLISH?!?!?!

They do that so they can charge more for shipping.

I’ve received stuff like that.

Don’t forget the thousand packing peanuts.

That is sadly truthful.

She’l need the polish after ripping that box open.

I’ve also had the opposite. I get cat grass from Amazon & sometimes they cram the 6 or 8 containers into one of those envelopes that barely holda it & usually one will break open.

Must have ordered it from Amazon.

Looks like Hewlett Packard designed the packing. Once I got a box, inside was another box, inside that was an envelope, in the envelope was one sheet of paper confirming my order; except they left out the DAT with the software on it.

I once got a box. That’s it, a box, empty except for packing so the air wouldn’t be damaged and no, not Amazon. 2nd attempt was a box with the wrong item! Third try was the charm and I never ordered from them again.

It’s happened to me, too, after ordering nail polish. And, last week I got the 2 boxes of protein bars I ordered. They were packed in a large box with bubble wrap and an ice packet. Even though I ordered the bars from Amazon, they were shipped from a different place.

Imagine if she’d bought at the drug store, it would come with a 10 foot receipt.

That really does happen.

And to top it off, she doesn’t even have any nails.

This isn’t wrong! LOL!

Packaging overkill….

Well Oogie will have something to play with.

She is not exaggerating we got something that was 3 inch square 1/2 inch thick in a box big enough for a couple of hundred of them. I guess they just grab any box.

Amazon and Chewy are big on doing this.

I had that with a DVD once, came in an a3-sized cardboard sleeve plastic-wrapped to the inside…

Amazon doesn’t know the meaning of the word “wasteful”.

I got the nail polish package as well…immediately thought it was a scam attempt. It was, but not on me. Unscrupulous businesses on Amazon will ship innocuous items so they can show a “shipment” of their product and then post glowing reviews. Quite lucrative it seems.

It’s packed in a large box because if it was in anything smaller, it’d get “lost”.

Now THAT is an accurate cartoon. We get those kind of packages from Walmart all the time. Huge box for a tiny item.
