Prayer must be inclusive. It only works when we ask what we ask for for everyone. Selfish prayer always go unanswered. It is “Give us this day our daily bread” not “Give me this day my daily bread,” “Forgive us our debts/trespasses as we for give others their debts/trespasses.” The last part of that seems lost on far too many.
