Here is a thought —. Texting while driving with children under 12 years of age could be consider child endangerment. Its been determined texting while driving is dangerous; texting while driving put the kids at risk. Yip
Saw an elderly person texting while stopped at a light. Light turned green, I moved through the enter section. I looked in the mirror and the elderly person was still at the stop light. My son said when the elderly person finally moved through the intersection they were driving like they were drunk. The elderly person pulled up next to us at another stop light still texting. Amazing they’re still alive. I feel for tucker. Yip yip yip yip yip
On the other hand, there is a need for all of us to be diligent and aware of possible dangers. Being in the right is of little comfort while in the hospital with an injury.
This one has to be the funniest so far this year. And yes, this comic does portray a very serious subject. for any precision work the phone needs to be TURNED OFF.
Has anyone never had to grab a person staring at their phone who is about to run into something, do something really stupid, about to walk into traffic, fall off an edge, miss the step on an escalator or something else dangerous? I have even grabbed the sleeve of a stranger to keep them from getting injured. I honked at someone who was trying to text on their lap at a red light that hadn’t been red for at least halfway through the light – in a city where it’s illegal to use a phone at all for any reason while driving.
Reminds me of a story that old friend told me. He was mowing hay when his dog ran in front of him. The dog lost all four paws in the accident. He said the dog survived but was about three inches shorter. He was an ex sailor so you have to that this with a grain of salt.

Looks like you’re lucky you still got ears and a tail. (Not to mention how lucky you are that you weren’t laying on your back at the time!)

My Dad did that to our cat once with the riding lawn mower. Took it’s tail right off.
