This is like Captain Tsubasa, where the players runs in soccer field of 40 kilometers… but back to your questin Hubbs… Can’t you make some miracle move to catch both with your only working arm?
(Mr. H) HEY! EVERYONE!… Sorry to break the bad news, but we won’t have any more strips for the rest of the week. We had some hold ups last week, which caused us to hiccup our schedule, so we decided to take a few days off and get back on schedule. Strips begin next week, so technically, you have a few more weeks until these final two seconds of gameplay actually end. (maniacal laughing echoes throughout R. house). Bea R. is going to pencil the end game this week, I ink it next week, in two weeks you will see it here. I’m thumb nailing up to #83 of the 4th qtr right now, which you see in three weeks. The last strip is #101 of the 4th quarter (though it goes back home, etc. by that point). 6 more weeks and the strip is “over”. I’ve composed the 4th book’s art, ready to publish by Christmas. I’d peg December 3rd as the end of the comic as we know it. Then we go weekly with strips, maybe in color.
Bea R. will continue weekly with “Kitten” and “Katzen-Jammer” on Webtoons, and I will have a separate account on Webtoons with a new project beginning in December, but going 2-3x/week @ Valentine’s Day. You can always ready a month early on Patreon (for a price). My new project is REMY FELOBO (acronym), and will be a scrolling rom-com-dramedy about high school love in a semi-Prof. Higgins-style, animanga trope spoof; it will be semi-designed/penciled/colored by Bea R.
Hope you survive the coming break. BTW, as slow as this arc seems to you daily readers, it works perfectly well in a book/binge form—our planning. We’ll return to fun one-off strips for the next year or two. If the series ever sparks enough interest to blow up, we will go back to 6/week in color; we have plenty of ideas left over from the first six years to fuel another year or two of sandbox stories.
