Red, embrace the moment, as you get older you will fondly remember it.

One of many great things about dogs is that they are non-judgemental, cats on the other hand.

How sweet! They are such good friends.

Awe!! Support is so important in life! Keep it up, you guys!

Rover seems to be forgetting that Red once cast himself as a sheriff and Rover as an outlaw:

Rover: Why am I the outlaw?

Red: You chewed Dad’s slippers.

Rover: That was years ago.

Red: Once an outlaw always an outlaw.

Perhaps this is set earlier or perhaps Rover is good at forgetting the bad times and remembering the good ones.

What a beautiful friendship!

Sadly, some parents raise their children to the tune of panel #1.

We all need a Red in our lives. (And a Rover too.)

Now that’s true love. Yip yip yip yip yip

I remember hearing this old saying a long time ago and it’s stuck with me all these years: May I become the person my dog thinks I am.

Nice…Nice….that Rover loves you so much, Red

Rover, so loving, so devoted, so good to Red.

Red, learning to be a good husband and father someday.

I know the feeling.

Gotta love Rover. We know Red does….
