I feel so bad for poor Rover.

A tad pale, but those are obviously supposed to be avocado green appliances! That takes me back to the ’70s, even though mine back then were harvest gold.

Red and Rover understand each other very well. Red’s Mom means well but today she misread Rover. She understood Rover much better in a recent story arc where she made a doll of Red to keep Rover company but that story arc went badly for Red. Luckily, it only lasted for the first four days of the week.

Red’s Mom needs to console Rover with a few Milky Bones!

Rover, your pal Red is the only one who understands you! But you knew that! The ball at the window is a nice touch ;)

To make Rover feel better, she should let Rover play in the pile of clean cloth. Yip yip yip yip yip

It won’t be long now Rover and Red will be home. Patience pup, patience.

Rover knows to the minute when Red will be home. Trust me. They apparently do this by smelling our skin cells in the air. When the smell drops down to a certain level over time, they learn that is the right time. Mom here could learn to do something specific when Red is due home, like get his afternoon treats out or something. Rover would learn to understand that.

Thank goodness today’s ‘color schemes’ for kitchens are neutrals and stainless.

Poor Rover… he just wants Red home soon.

You mean that all this time, you never noticed that Red is the only human who reacts to your thoughts?!
