Eating an orange that way is not very apeeling…

If orange peel is good enough for marmalade, it’s good enough for me.

Regular oranges not so much, but I did like the peel from mandarins or clementines

Orange peel is not bad – especially when pith (the whitish part below & connected to the outer zest) is thick. Or just eat the thick pith. And then eat the rest of the orange.

This is one of the main reasons I don’t eat fruit. That, along with the strong flavors and the texture.

It would be more impressive if it was an avocado

Apple peel is proving difficult these years for us. Those teeth aren’t as sharp as they used to be. Well, those teeth aren’t the same teeth actually.

One of the resident assistants in my college dorm used to eat the entire apple, core included.

My mom would always make candied orange peels around Christmas. I use crushed, dried orange (and lemon) peels in my shortbread cookies/frosting.

It isn’t good for you to eat produce that’s not organic, much less the peel of it, they absorb the pesticides. Pesticides can cause illnesses like cancer
