Many years ago I passed a Kidney Stone, I was advised to drink lots of fluids to keep my Kidneys flushed. I don’t care how many times I have to go to the bathroom, I NEVER want to go through that experience again.
No medical authority originated the eight or ten glasses of water a day “health guide”. It was promulgated by bottled water companies and is unsupported by any credible research.
This is why we insisted on having two toilets when we bought our house.
His dad would ask what was wrong a house we were shown (he came with us often when we were looking at houses) and we would say no, because there was only one bathroom. We knew, having lived in an apartment with one bathroom we needed at least a bathroom and a half bathroom.

I once saw a study that said that a home with 1 bathroom was a major cause of divorce.

I drink lots of water all day but usually don’t need to relieve myself until after I’ve gone to bed. Then it’s several times through the night.

I tried that “8 glasses of water a day” thing, and I just couldn’t keep it up. I found that 6 is my limit.

I drink a lot of water and that doesn’t cause me too much trouble. However, coffee, tea, and fruit juice hits hard and fast.
