When we had dogs, it was well worth the price to take them to the groomer to get their nails trimmed. The groomers were very good at it, and the dogs just seemed to hold still better for them. (They also had those sling things to hold them safely if they didn’t hold still). Needing a torn nail trimmed at home required both hubby and me holding the struggling, wiggling, panicked dog still, and we mostly had miniature dachshunds, LOL!
